One connected workspace, from first selection to historical testing.
A connected process that keeps your research, assumptions, and results together.
Find instruments or start with a preset. See the sectors, markets, and currencies behind your selection.
Explore UniverseCompare correlations and PCA loading profiles. Identify shared exposures before choosing candidates.
Explore AnalysisChoose an objective, set position bounds, and define long and short budgets. Inspect the resulting allocation.
Explore OptimizationUse historical walk-forward testing. Compare with equal weights and inspect what happened at each rebalance.
Explore BacktestingWeights alone don’t tell the whole story. Uptimizer brings the exposure, risk, and comparison behind them into view.
Keep an equal-weight baseline alongside your optimized portfolio.
Inspect return, volatility, drawdown, and concentration together.
Review changing weights, equity, and realized PnL at each rebalance.
An optimized allocation reflects its objective and assumptions. It does not guarantee better future performance.
Move between correlations, principal components, and instrument-level loadings. Explore the relationships behind a portfolio.
Training dates, rebalancing schedules, costs, and budgets belong alongside results. Know what your test actually measures.
Copy weights into your own tools. Export reports and correlation visuals for further analysis or discussion.
Uptimizer is a portfolio research workspace. It helps you select instruments, compare exposures, calculate allocations, and evaluate historical strategies. The workflow shown here does not place live trades.
There is no guarantee. Optimizing an objective can improve that objective on its input data while performing worse in later periods. That is why Uptimizer keeps an equal-weight comparison in view and supports walk-forward testing.
You choose a historical range and an initial training period. The selected universe stays fixed. At each scheduled decision, the strategy calculates weights using prior observations and tests them on subsequent data.
Yes. Long and short budgets, per-instrument minimum and maximum weights, and shortability assumptions control the portfolio setup. A short budget of zero means a long-only strategy.
